With bondage and BDSM being incredibly physical and emotional activities, it’s easy for our mental health to accidentally fly under the radar. The three are inter-related and understanding that the need for balance among all three is key to creating more holistically satisfying sessions.
No matter how therapeutic bondage might be, I’d like to make it clear that bondage is not a suitable or recommended replacement for actual therapy facilitated by a trained psychologist or psychiatrist.
