Description

About this Rope Wax:
Made from all-natural food grade beeswax and mineral oil, this simple blend of rope wax is the same that Dee uses to maintain his ropes for Shibari.ph.

You can use this to treat your raw, untreated bondage ropes, or use them to keep your ropes in good condition after every dozen or so ties (or whenever they feel too dry or uncomfortable).

Delivery Details:
Now available nationwide for a flat fee of Php 200 (or free shipping for orders Php 1000 and above). Note: Deliveries may take between 7-15 days (usually sooner) since I’m now based in Laguna.

Refund Requests:
For hygiene and quality reasons, refunds can only be accommodated if requested before the ropes are shipped.

Rope Maintenance:
Our Japanese jute ropes need maintaining through a small coating of rope oil, wax, paste, or cream every so often. These act as a source of nourishment and hydrophobic barrier to keep the rope’s moisture levels, softness, and durability at suitable levels.

The frequency for maintenance is dependent on how heavily you use your ropes but it’s safe to apply a fresh coat after every dozen or so ties. (Learn more about rope maintenance »)

Cleaning:
Unlike synthetic ropes which are okay to wash with soap and water, natural fiber ropes can shrink, weaken, and deteriorate when wet—making them harder to clean and a possible safety risk. This means prevention is your best bet at keeping your ropes clean and hygienic. Keep this in mind when using your jute ropes for kinds of play that involve liquids like water or bodily fluids.

If you end up getting them drenched (either by accident or necessity), clean your ropes then consider marking them (so they don’t get mixed in with your other ropes) and dedicate them to just floor-based bondage to avoid accidents.

Privacy:
When booking deliveries via our app-based delivery partners (Grab, NinjaVan, etc.), the ropes (and wax) are labeled as art materials for your privacy. To protect your ropes from accidental moisture, spills, and prying eyes, your purchase will be stored in black, plastic, resealable containers inside either a solid black eco-bag or drawstring bag. No images, text, or logos will be attached that hint at the contents.
