Description
Required:
• No prerequisite classes. Complete newbies welcome!
Rope Jams (6-10pm, 4 hours) are where you can watch, tie, or be tied with friends from SPH every Saturday!
There’s no agenda. If you find shibari fun to watch or practice, our rope jams are relaxed, casual, and social tying events where you can meet new people, try rope play yourself, or watch other people’s tying styles.
See you on the mats!
Notes:
• Jute and synthetic ropes are available for borrowing or for sale at the studio.
• By registering for this event, you’re agreeing that you’ve read and agree to comply with our Event Guidelines.
Event Guidelines
- Taking photos is okay during Workshops, Rope Jams, and Open Shoots but please make sure nobody else is captured in the shot. During Munches, Salons and other events, photography is strictly prohibited.
- If you recognize someone from vanilla life, please refrain from sharing or outing details of their identity to other people (e.g. vanilla name, social media, school, workplace, place of residence, etc.).
- Please make sure your attire is street-legal and vanilla when arriving at and exiting the venue. You may only change into your preferred kink attire after you have entered the venue. Comfortable, non-baggy clothes are recommended to avoid snagging on the ropes. Bras with underwires are discouraged due to the risk of accidental piercing/stabbing during bondage.
- There are no parking spaces available at the venue. The nearest secure parking option would be at Ayala Malls Circuit, which is a ten minute walk away. You are advised to take a tricycle from there or book a car via a ridesharing app for your convenience.
- House ropes (hand-treated jute) are available for borrowing but cannot be used for mouth- nor crotch-based bondage. You may purchase ropes at the venue (if available).
- Our community safe words follow the Traffic Light system (Green for Go, Yellow for Slow Down, Red for Stop). Failure to respect these will result in a ban and a report shared with other local kink community leaders.
- Our Dojo Cat and house volunteers are empowered to interrupt your play if they deem them to fall outside of the event space’s risk profile. Please don’t argue with them. You may raise any and all complaints with Daki directly.
- Please refrain from imbibing alcohol or other intoxicating substances that affect your judgment and motor function before and during events and appointments.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable due to difficulties in securing replacements. Cancellations made prior to this 7-day window will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Above all, be good, be safe, and take care of each other. Let’s have fun.
