Description

We are now accepting Pre-Orders for these hand-treated natural fiber jute ropes until Jan 31st, 2023. The discounted rate is only available during this pre-order.

About these Ropes:
Asanawa Classic are the rope of choice for most Japanese style rope bondage artists. They are lighter (less dense than hemp), gentler (less likely to cause rope burn), and stabler (holds knots better) compared to synthetic ropes but will need rope treatment to remove the strong smell of JBO (jute batching oil).

Dee personally treats each rope by hand so that when they arrive, you’re ready to start playing without needing additional work. Over time, you will need to perform rope maintenance yourself to keep your ropes in good condition (see below).

Estimated Delivery Date:
Our estimated delivery time is between 30-45 days (usually sooner) after the pre-order deadline to account for unexpected delays and the rope treatment process. Please only place a pre-order if you understand this constraint and don’t mind waiting.

Delivery Details:
We ship nationwide. Free shipping for orders Php 1000 and above. The ropes will be labeled as art materials for your privacy and stored in discreet packaging with no images, text, or logos that hint at the contents.

Refund Requests:
For your peace of mind, refund requests for the pre-orders will be entertained up until the ropes are shipped out to you. Once delivered, you have 24 hours to inspect the product for quality issues or defects and contact us to exchange it for a replacement. After that 24 hour period, no further return or replacement requests will be entertained for safety and hygiene reasons.

Rope Maintenance:
Our jute ropes need maintaining through a light coating of rope oil, wax, paste, or cream every so often. These act as a hydrophobic barrier and source of nourishment to keep its moisture, softness, and durability at suitable levels.

The frequency for maintenance is dependent on how heavily you use your ropes but it’s safe to apply a light, fresh coat after every dozen ties or whenever your rope starts to feel too dry. (Learn more about rope maintenance »)

Cleaning:
Unlike synthetic ropes which are okay to wash with soap and water, natural fiber ropes can shrink, weaken, and deteriorate when wet—making them harder to clean and a possible safety risk. This means prevention is your best bet at keeping your ropes clean and hygienic. Given that, try avoiding using your jute ropes for kinds of play that involve liquids like water or bodily fluids.

If you end up getting them drenched (either by accident or necessity), clean your ropes then consider marking them (so they don’t get mixed in with your other ropes) and dedicate them to just floor-based bondage to prevent accidents.
